Sound familiar?

What founders tell us before they start.

“We've already printed the packaging.”

If someone else owns the name, you may have to rebrand. A search takes days; checking first costs far less than changing later.

“Someone is copying our listings.”

A trademark gets you into Amazon Brand Registry, which gives you tools to report copycats and protect your listings.

“Which class do I even file in?”

We match your products to the right trademark classes, so your protection covers what you actually sell.

Send us your brand name. We'll tell you if there are obvious conflicts before you spend on filing.

What's included

Exactly what you get, and what you don't.

Trademark search and registration

IP India

Founders who have chosen a brand name or logo, ideally before printing packaging or running ads.

Included

  • Search of the IP India register in relevant classes
  • Class selection for your products
  • TM-A application and power of attorney
  • Status tracking and examination report review
  • Status tracking until registration or opposition

Documents needed

  • Brand name and logo file
  • Applicant details (individual or entity)
  • First date of use, if you already sell under the brand
  • Udyam certificate, if you have one (lowers the government fee)
More details: exclusions, fees and timeline

What it solves

Checks whether someone already owns your brand name, then files to protect it. Amazon Brand Registry needs a registered trademark, or in some cases an application number, at Amazon's discretion.

Not included

  • Reply to an examination objection (quoted separately if needed)
  • Opposition and hearing representation
  • International filings
  • Logo design

Your part

Tell us every product you sell or plan to sell under the brand, so the right classes are covered.

After completion

Use ™ from the day you file and ® only once registered. Registration lasts 10 years and is renewable.

Government fees

IP India filing fee per class, included in your quote. The fee is lower for individuals, startups and small enterprises.

Timeline

Ours: Stated in your quote, counted from the day we have complete documents.

Theirs: Examination, possible objection, journal publication and a four-month opposition period. Registration often takes a year or more.

Amazon Brand Registry enrolment

Amazon.in

Brands selling on Amazon.in that have filed or registered a trademark, and want more control over their listings. We also help with Flipkart's brand approval for your listings.

Included

  • Eligibility check: trademark status, and whether the mark matches the brand on your products and packaging
  • Enrolment application with you, on a screen share, from your own Amazon account
  • Brand details, product and packaging images prepared for submission
  • Coordinating the verification code Amazon sends to the trademark's registered contact
  • Flipkart brand approval application for your listings

Documents needed

  • Trademark application or registration number
  • Brand name and logo exactly as filed
  • Photos of the product and packaging showing the brand
  • Access to your Amazon seller account, on a screen share
More details: exclusions, fees and timeline

What it solves

Brand Registry gives brand owners tools such as more control over product detail pages, ways to report copies and infringing listings, and enhanced brand content. Amazon decides eligibility and which tools you get.

Not included

  • Amazon or Flipkart seller account setup
  • Product listings, A+ content or advertising
  • Legal action against infringers

Your part

You own the seller account and the enrolment. We work with you on a screen share and never ask for your password.

After completion

Keep your trademark active: reply to any objection on time, and renew every 10 years.

Government fees

None from the government. Amazon does not charge for Brand Registry enrolment.

Timeline

Ours: Stated in your quote, counted from the day we have complete documents.

Theirs: Amazon verifies the trademark and decides on enrolment, and may ask for more information.

Starting from scratch? Our compliance plans include two trademark applications with your business and GST registration.

How it works

Three steps, no surprises.

1

Send your brand name

And your logo, if you have one, with the products you sell.

2

We search and advise

Any conflicts, the classes you need, and a written quote.

3

We file with IP India

You can use ™ from the day it's filed. We track it to registration.

Questions about trademarks

Do I need a trademark before launching?

It isn't legally required to start selling. But if another business already owns your brand name, you may have to rebrand after printing packaging and building reviews. A search before launch is inexpensive, and Amazon Brand Registry needs a trademark application or registration.

What's included in a quote?

Your written quote includes the government fees for that filing, such as MCA fees and stamp duty for a company, or the IP India fee for a trademark. GST is added on top. Late fees for filings that are already overdue are not included.

How long does the process usually take?

There are two clocks: ours and the authority's. We commit to our turnaround from the day we have complete documents. Government and platform processing is outside our control and varies; trademarks in particular can take a year or more.

What renewals and recurring compliance should I expect?

GST returns monthly or quarterly. Annual filings for companies and LLPs, even with no sales. Trademark renewal every 10 years. Digital signature certificates need renewing when they expire.

Not sure what you need?

Tell us what you sell and where. In a 15-minute fit check, we'll tell you what applies, what doesn't, and the fixed price, before you commit.
